THEDI’s Founder and BoT Chairperson visit to Nigeria

Mr. Ikechukwu Nnamani, THEDI’s founder and BoT Chairperson visited Nigeria on the 20th day of June 2021. He is currently based in Belgium but visits Nigeria from time to time to check on his family and the affairs of the organisation he formed to cater to the health and legal rights of vulnerable persons in Nigeria. During his stay, he spent ample time strengthening collaborations with key stakeholders that support THEDI’s works. He was joined by two other BoT members (Mr. Flavian Ezireke and Mr. Boniface Tabugo) as well as the Ag. Executive Director (Mr. Mbam Chinedu) in Abuja and they paid advocacies to Society for Family Health (SFH), APIN Public Health Initiative, Center for Clinical Care and Clinical Research (CCCRN), and Heartland Alliance.

Mr. Ikechukwu also visited Benue State AIDS Control Agency (BenSACA), Apin Public Health Initiative Benue, CCCRN Benue, and KP core group Benue. He had a heart-to-heart meeting with community stakeholders and key influencers in Benue state. The staff were not left out as there was a general meeting with the staff at the conference room in THEDI’s head office in Benue state. To bid farewell to THEDI’s community members, staff and BoT, a dinner party was hosted at THEDI premises on the 26th day of June 2021. In attendance were THEDI community members, staff, a BoT member, as well as staff of other implementing partners in Benue state. Indeed the entire THEDI staff and community members were grateful for his visit and they yearn for his next visit scheduled for 2022.
